Al fresco
On the days in 'not so tropical' Harpenden when it's actually nice weather, you can enjoy any of the three separate seating areas in our award winning gardens.
The front of the pub has several picnic tables with umbrellas to shade you from the sun, with further covered seating on the grassy knoll.
At the rear of the pub is a delightful back garden with partial cover, flowers and various bric-a-brac. This area is heated when needed and is wired for relaxing music.
Outside seating
The front of the pub has several tables with umbrellas to shade you from the sun and a trellis'ed pagoda to the side with larger tables.
All of these overlook the only nature reserve in the Harpenden area.
At the rear and the side of the pub there is a delightful decked terrace with partial cover. This is adorned with beautiful hanging baskets, assorted flower and plant pots, the ideal setting to dine alfresco style.
To the side there is a grassy knoll with covered seating in front of a trellis adorned with climbing plants.
