A lot of time and some expert advice from our wine merchant, Mr Nick Fox, has resulted in a well thought wine list that we hope will please all tastes.

Our wines originate from nine different countris and have been selected to represent diversity, excellent quality and good value.

White

Coastline Chenin Blanc

Lighter style with a great citrus dryness (South Africa).

Piesporter Michelsberg

Medium tasting, lovely crisp zesty fruit (Germany).

Five mile point Colombard-Chardonnay

The richness of the Chardonnay beautifully tempered by the crisp acidity of the Colombard (Australia).

Colombard-Sauvignon Pret a Boire

Fresh, fragrant with a deceptively dry finish (France).

Pino Grigio, Trentino

Ever popular, dry with an almost lemony freshness (Italy).

Sauvignon de Touraine

Very dry, fresh, crunchy crisp (Domaine d'Artois les Buttelieres, France).

Douglas Green Sauvignon Blanc

Combines all the green appley, gooseberry, grassy flavours expected of good Sauvignon. Very dry (South Africa)

Weighbridge Chardonnay

A typically Aussie Chardonnay, rich yet not overpowering, well balanced. Made by the so-called "King of the Barossa Valey" (Peter Lehmann, Australia).

Sancerre, Domaine Durand

Rich distinctive nose with all the classic Sauvignon flavours.

Cloudy Bay, Sauvignon Blanc

Speaks for itself. Very limited stock.

Meursault Vielles Vignes, Domaine Bocard 2000

serious stuff, deliciously dry, a real joy to drink.

Puligny Montrachet Vielles Vignes

Domaine Vincent Girardin 2001. This is the very tops in white Burgundy.
